• I started at Jessie's Makin Music about a month ago and I am absolutely loving it! I was looking for somewhere that offered ukulele lessons that were affordable but that would still maintain quality and individuality. I feared that I would only find places that treated learning music as a factory, simply pushing knowledge in but not adding any fun. Jessie's Makin Music has blown this fear away completely. I have shared many laughs with the staff and was instantly put at ease when I first walked through the door.
   Sarah at the front desk is incredibly friendly and was very helpful in answering my questions and arranging a time slot for me.  She greets everyone and I honestly believe she knows every student by name! When she speaks to students, it is clear she is passionate about music and learning.
  My instructor, Ron, and I hit it off quickly and he took a genuine interest in my life and what I'm looking to learn.  He is incredibly approachable and I have no fears about asking him questions. Since starting, my knowledge and confidence has grown in leaps and bounds. Ron is passionate about student growth and learning and is always available to students. He is quick to show me how to manage a particularly difficult finger pattern (and to repeat it 9 more times when I forget). His patience, humor and dedication is heartwarming and thoroughly appreciated.
  I always look forward to coming out for my lessons as they are often the highlight of my week. I love how personable the staff are as well as the beautiful studios. • My kids have been taking lessons at Makin' Music for over 4 years. They love how much fun they have with Jess at their lessons. I love how much progress they make month to month. Jess is great with young children. I am impressed with how well she is able to engage both of my kids in their learning given how different their personalities are.
